Fall & Thanksgiving

Fall at Stanford

Well Fall also came and went and because of Andrew's shop, we stayed in Sunnyvale for our first Thanksgiving together. It was just going to be us but we had a few friends in the area and they helped me cook and make the turkey (first time making a turkey too!). It was fun for me because I have never hosted a big meal or had that many people around my table for that matter. This meant that I got to go to the store and buy a new tablecloth (because my other ones don't fit when the table is leafed out)and some other things like a gravy boat, which I have never had any use for. Although I missed my family I have to say it was really nice to start our own traditions and to not have to travel! That was the most relieving part I think. It's always such a rush back and forth to spend SUCH little time with my family. Well worth it, of course, but a nice break as well.

It turned out sooo good and juicy! Andrew loved it and it was a nice holiday alltogether.
